If you don’t monitor the progress you won’t know if you are going to achieve your target by the deadline. If you know your progress you will stay motivated and can shake things around if you think things are going slowly.

Many young entrepreneurs get confused when you talk to them about a business plan. The idea of writing down everything you want to achieve with your business is daunting but it doesn’t need to be. Firstly, you need to understand that the business plan doesn’t need to be very long or even detailed for that matter. It should be a rough outline of the things that you wish to achieve. By making the effort of doing this task you will have a clear set of milestones in front of you that you can hope to fulfill.
