After beating Jose Ramirez, Josh Taylor says that he wishes to fight American Terence Crawford and sees it as an opportunity to unify the light-welterweight division. During his fight with Jose Ramirez, Josh Taylor won unanimously in Las Vegas at the Virgin Hotel after knocking down Ramirez twice. The win has given Josh Taylor a lot of confidence, and he is now prepared to move up to welterweight to fight Crawford. When asked about the possible fight, Taylor responded by saying that two undisputed champions fight at 147 pounds would be amazing.

According to Taylor, he will have many fighting options from now, and every single fight will be huge. Taylor became the first undisputed champion in the four-belt era for Britain after fighting Ramirez. This fight took Taylor’s record to 18 wins from 18 fights.

Josh Taylor recorded 114-112 scores on all judges’ cards and became the fifth man in Boxing to hold all four belts in a given division. He retained his WBA and IBF titles while adding the WBC and WBO belts to his collection.

During the sixth round, Ramirez went down for the first time but got up in time. However, he was knocked over again in the seventh round. Taylor accused referee Kenny Bayless of giving Ramirez a few extra seconds to help get through the round.

In an interview, Taylor said that he did not achieve these titles out of just luck; instead, it took 15 years of dedication and hard work. In the end, everything paid off. Taylor’s last fight at home in Edinburgh was against Miguel Vasquez in 2017, but now he has shown interest in bringing the fight back home once again.

Taylor is Scotland’s first undisputed world champion in 50 years, and the last man to do it was Ken Buchanan. Taylor made sure that he paid due tribute to the boxing legend from Edinburgh.

Becoming an undisputed champion is every boxer’s dream, but it comes at a price of hard work and dedication. One of the biggest problems that boxers have to face is that, unlike other sports, boxing matches don’t take place every week. Instead, boxers only fight two or maybe three times a year.

When you only get a couple of chances a year, you need to work hard to capitalize on the opportunity. And if by chance, you are unable to win the match, it can bring you down pretty quickly.

Josh Taylor has fought in 18 matches until now, but he hasn’t faced a defeat yet. This is a pretty impressive record for any boxer, and he will try to maintain his winning streak for as long as possible.

Terence Crawford will be unlike any opponent that Taylor has faced. He is from the big leagues and is also an undisputed champion. So, if Taylor wants to win this fight, he will need to train twice as hard.
